Our Torquay team in Dorset, Devon and Cornwall (DDC) Probation Services will be moving into freshly renovated offices next week.
The large open-plan office in Union Street will be seen as a flag-ship office within the south west of England. It has been purpose-fitted to meet the needs of staff and service users who will be using the building, boasting an open-plan reception area with information screens and reading material. There are also two large group rooms and four secure interview rooms with appropriate security measures.
The news is welcomed by the team, with Amanda Davis, Senior Probation Officer for Torquay, saying: “The Torquay team has had a prolonged period of significant disruption. This new building will bring the team together under one permanent roof.
“The team has worked under extremely difficult circumstances over the past couple of years, and I would like to thank them all for their resilience and commitment.”
The team will move into their new home over Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 February.
The new office details are:
First Floor Union House
89 Union Street
