The Lord Lieutenant and High Sheriff of Devon have written to probation staff to thank them for their extra community support during the lockdown.
Work included collecting and delviering food supplies, as well as suppoting vulnerable people during the pandemic.
Across our probation services, employees provided over 8,000 hours of support during the pandemic.
High Sheriff, Gerald Hine-Haycock, and Lord Lieutenant, David Fursdon, wanted to thank staff for what they had done to respond “quickly” and “tirelessly” to the local community needs.
